NBC Page Program & the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
In September 2011, TriviaTryst hosted a special event with the NBC Page Program to help raise funds and awareness for their participation in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. NBC Page and TriviaTryst host Mark "In the Mix Since 86" hosted the event and TriviaTryst made a donation to help pay tribute and bring hope to people battling blood cancers.
Vanity Fair Magazine
TriviaTryst hosted a series of events with Vanity Fair Magazine to promote the Vanity Fair Trivia: Movie Madness iPhone app in the NYC area. For one week in July 2010, TriviaTryst fans enjoyed questions from the app at all of our NYC area games and competed for a variety of Vanity Fair prizes. Pencils of Promise
In 2010, TriviaTryst promoted the charitable cause of building schools in areas of need via a partnership with the Pencils of Promise organization. In the aftermath of the Haiti Earthquake, donations to cover immediate humanitarian needs were plentiful, but longer term educational needs received less attention. Pencils of Promise (PoP) works to improve long term educational conditions by building schools in areas of global need. TriviaTryst solicited Facebook votes at all of our events for PoP in Chase Bank's Community Giving Campaign, helping to win funds to support their mission. Although TriviaTryst is just a form of entertainment, expanding the reach of an intellectual game shares a common thread with PoP's goal of promoting education in communities where it has been overlooked. TriviaTryst and PoP are committed to working together in the future to further promote the value of a good education both in the developing world and the NYC area.
